I bought my motherboard about 5-6 six month ago but all of my usb 3.0 ports are not working. Let me explain this : - I looked my bios and checked the ports. Everything is fine but my usb 3.0 ports are dont serve as usb 3.0. or above. - There is usb 3.0 ports on my mother board but they dont effective on my ports.
Plug the device into another USB port. Remove any USB hubs and connect the device into a USB port on the PC. Disconnect the device from the PC. Right-click on the device, and select Uninstall. Check the box next to Delete the driver software for this device (if it is shown). Click OK and restart the PC.
Update #2 to this post: ran Windows Power Diagnostics which did not find an issue: USB Selective Suspend is disabled Issue not present. Update #3 to this post: ran all HP and Windows diagnostics which show the ports are "working normally". The 2 USB 3.0 ports on the right side of my laptop have never worked since I purchased the laptop in July.
Hi there, My USB 3.0 ports stop working after the PC come out from Sleep Mode in Windows 10. My System Model name is Acer One 14 Z1-471. Whenever these USB 3.0 ports stop working, USB 3.0 extensible host controller - 1.0 (Microsoft) in Device Manager shows an exclamation mark. I've tried the following methods to fix it:
